February 19, 2022: Eugene, OR 97401 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the South Eugene Axe (Eugene, OR) and the visiting Roseburg Indians (Roseburg, OR), saw South Eugene's basketball squad overcome Roseburg by a tally of 59-40.
With the victory, South Eugene improves its record to 4-15 on the campaign. The Axe host Sheldon (Eugene, OR) to confront the Irish in a 6A Southwest challenge on Friday, February 25. The Irish come into the challenge with a record of 14-8. Sheldon won 44-36 in their recent league challenge against North Medford (Medford, OR)
Next up, the Indians confront the Grants Pass Cavemen (Grants Pass, OR) in a 6A Southwest challenge, on Tuesday, February 22. Roseburg will attempt to improve on its 2-14 season record. The Cavemen come into the challenge with a 12-8 record after their 68-35 league loss to South Medford (Medford, OR).
