Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - Staples drops to Tri-Town
February 19, 2022: Ellington, CT In Saturday's non-league test, the host Tri-Town ice hockey team scored a good 9-0 win over the Staples Wreckers.
The (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT). The Centaurs enter the Nutmeg Conference test with a 7-2 record. In their last test, Woodstock Academy topped Housatonic/Northwestern/Wamogo (Falls Village, CT), 7-2, in a league test.
Next up, the Wreckers encounter the Norwalk Bears (Norwalk, CT) in a non-league test, on Monday, February 21. Staples will attempt to advance on its 2-10 season record.
