The Cypress Ranch Mustangs softball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Dripping Springs Tigers to 1 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Cypress Ranch improves its record to 4-3 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Cypress Lakes (Katy, TX) to clash with the Spartans in a 6A Region II District 16 game on Tuesday, February 22. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 2-5. Cypress Lakes won 6-4 in their recent non-league outing against Jordan (Fulshear, TX)

The Tigers (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against Canyon (New Braunfels, TX). The Cougars enter the 5A Region IV District 26 outing with a 0-0 record.
