Hawley Bearcats (Hawley, TX) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Archer City Wildcats (Archer City, TX), 47-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hawley upgrades its record to 15-5 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Poolville (Poolville, TX) to face the Monarchs in a non-league game on Thursday, February 22. The Monarchs enter the game with a record of 28-5. Poolville won 66-34 in their recent non-league game against Italy (Italy, TX)
