Connecticut High School Basketball - Trumbull overwhelms New Canaan
February 19, 2024: Trumbull, CT 06611 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Trumbull Eagles (Trumbull, CT) and the visiting New Canaan Rams (New Canaan, CT), saw Trumbull's basketball squad wallop New Canaan by a count of 75-52.
With the victory, Trumbull upgrades its record to 16-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT) to play the Falcons in a Fairfield County challenge on Wednesday, February 21. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 11-8. Ludlowe lost 61-35 in their recent league challenge against Wilton (Wilton, CT)
Next up, the Rams play the Ridgefield Tigers (Ridgefield, CT) in a Fairfield County challenge, on Wednesday, February 21. New Canaan will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 18-1 record after their 78-57 league win over Darien (Darien, CT).
