Massachusetts High School Basketball - Pittsfield tops South Hadley
February 19, 2024: Pittsfield, MA 01201 Pittsfield Generals (Pittsfield, MA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting South Hadley Tigers (South Hadley, MA), 73-54 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Pittsfield upgrades its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Taconic (Pittsfield, MA) to play the Thunder in a Suburban - North bout on Thursday, February 22. The Thunder come into the bout with a record of 12-5. Taconic won 72-56 in their recent league bout against Agawam (Agawam, MA)
Next up, the Tigers play the Greenfield Green Wave (Greenfield, MA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 22. South Hadley will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Green Wave come into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 65-55 non-league loss to Wahconah Regional (Dalton, MA).
