The Stillwater Ponies (Stillwater, MN) basketball nipped the host Centennial Cougars (Circle Pines, MN), 65-61 in Monday's non-league test.

The Ponies (18-7) will now prepare for their test against White Bear Lake (White Bear Lake, MN). The Bears go into the AAAA Section 4 test with a 19-6 record. In their last test, White Bear Lake got by Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, MN), 80-52, in a non-league test.
