Connecticut High School Ice Hockey - Darien knocks off St. Joseph
February 19, 2024: Trumbull, CT 06611 The Darien Blue Wave trounced the host St. Joseph Cadets ice hockey squad by a count of 9-0 in Monday's league bout.
With the victory, Darien moves its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Blue Wave travel to Notre Dame (West Haven, CT) to face the Green Knights in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 21. The Green Knights go into the bout with a record of 11-4. Notre Dame lost 6-3 in their recent non-league bout against Xaverian Brothers (Westwood, MA)
The Cadets now sport a 2-16 record. They take the field next when they host Greenwich for a FCIAC bout on Thursday, February 22. St. Joseph will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 6-4 non-league win over Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-14.
