Texas High School Softball - Georgetown bounces Smithson Valley
February 19, 2024: Spring Branch, TX 78070 Georgetown Eagles (Georgetown, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rouse for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 22. Georgetown will battle a Raiders squad coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Stony Point (Round Rock, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 0-4.
With the loss, Smithson Valley falls to 5-1 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Frenship (Wolfforth, TX) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 22. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 2-0.
