California High School Baseball - Animo Venice held off by Diego Rivera
February 19, 2025: Los Angeles, CA 90001 Diego Rivera Huskies (Los Angeles, CA) fans left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Animo Venice Pirates (Los Angeles, CA), 5-3 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Diego Rivera advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Huskies host George Washington Prep (Los Angeles, CA) to battle the Generals in a non-league match on Friday, February 21. The Generals come into the match with a record of 0-0.
The Pirates now have a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Collins Family for a non-league match on Wednesday, March 5.
