February 19, 2025: Garden Grove, CA 92844 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the New Roads Jaguars (Santa Monica, CA) and the host Bolsa Grande Matadors (Garden Grove, CA), saw New Roads's baseball team beat Bolsa Grande by a margin of 16-4.
The Jaguars (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Rio Hondo Prep (Arcadia, CA). The Kares enter the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Rio Hondo Prep defeated Rosemead (Rosemead, CA), 14-3, in a non-league battle.

Bolsa Grande Matadors had trouble keeping up with New Roads in a 16-4 loss on Wednesday.
New Roads jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Xavier Walker singled, scoring one run, Donovan Eastwood doubled, scoring one run, and an error scored two runs.
A single by Sebastian Berumen extended the New Roads lead to 5-0 in the top of the second inning.
New Roads extended their early lead with three runs in the top of the third thanks to RBI singles by Asamino Spong and Sebastian Berumen.
