Georgia High School Basketball - Mt. Zion overwhelms Central

February 19, 2025: Mt. Zion, GA 30117

The Mt. Zion Eagles basketball team scored 97 points and limited the visiting Central Hawks to 59 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Eagles now possess a 20-8 record. They play next when they host Bryan County for a non-league game on Saturday, February 22. Mt. Zion will confront a Redskins team coming off a 73-45 non-league win over Montgomery County (Mt. Vernon, GA). The Redskins record now stands at 20-8.

With the loss, Central falls to 15-14 on the campaign.
