The Monroe Golden Tornadoes (Albany, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA), 68-43 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Golden Tornadoes now possess a 18-9 record. They play next when they travel to Pickens for a non-league match on Saturday, February 22. Monroe will face a Dragons squad coming off a 68-48 non-league win over Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA). The Dragons record now stands at 28-1.
