February 19, 2025: Irwinton, GA 31042 Mitchell County Eagles (Camilla, GA) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Wilkinson County Warriors (Irwinton, GA), 59-47 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Mitchell County advances its record to 17-12 on the year. The Eagles travel to Clinch County (Homerville, GA) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Saturday, February 22. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 22-2. Clinch County won 71-46 in their recent non-league match against Lincoln County (Lincolnton, GA)
The Warriors now own a 17-9 record.
