Illinois High School Basketball - Nazareth Academy toppled by Wheaton Academy
February 19, 2025: West Chicago, IL 60185 Wheaton Academy Warriors (West Chicago, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Nazareth Academy Roadrunners (LaGrange Park, IL), 56-48 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Wheaton Academy upgrades its record to 19-8 on the year. The Warriors host Parkview Christian Academy (Yorkville, IL) to face the Falcons in a non-league match on Thursday, February 20. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 12-15. Parkview Christian Academy won 49-48 in their recent non-league match against Aurora Central Catholic (Aurora, IL)
The Roadrunners now sport a 10-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hancock for a non-league match on Friday, February 21. Nazareth Academy will face a Eagles squad coming off a 56-53 non-league loss to Little Village (Chicago, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 9-21.
