The Syracuse Rockets (Syracuse, NE) basketball edged the visiting Douglas County West Falcon (Valley, NE), 45-41 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Rockets now possess a 12-11 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln Christian for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 20. Syracuse will play a Crusaders team coming off a 82-18 non-league win over Ashland-Greenwood (Ashland, NE). The Crusaders record now stands at 23-0.

With the loss, Douglas County West falls to 9-14 on the campaign.
