California High School Volleyball - Polytechnic can't get by San Gabriel
February 19, 2026: Pasadena, CA 91106 San Gabriel Matadors (San Gabriel, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Polytechnic Panthers (Pasadena, CA), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Matadors (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Rosemead (Rosemead, CA). The Panthers come into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Rosemead nudged Glenn (Norwalk, CA), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
With the loss, Polytechnic drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host Temple City (Temple City, CA) to play the Rams in a non-league outing on Friday, February 20. The Rams come into the outing with a record of 0-0.
