Georgia High School Soccer - Cairo nudges Lee County
February 19, 2026: Cairo, GA 39828 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Cairo Syrupmakers (Cairo, GA) and the visiting Lee County Trojans (Leesburg, GA), saw Cairo's soccer squad hold off Lee County by a count of 2-1.
The Syrupmakers (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Tift County (Tifton, GA). The Blue Devils enter the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Tift County was tipped by Lowndes (Valdosta, GA), 3-1, in a league match.
The Trojans now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Tift County for a non-league match on Thursday, February 26.
