In Saturday's league outing, the Vail Mountain Gore Rangers (Vail, CO) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Rangely Panthers (Rangely, CO), by a margin of 53-22.

The Gore Rangers (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Aspen (Aspen, CO). The Skiers go into the non-league outing with a 7-1 record. In their last outing, Aspen smashed Grand Valley (Parachute, CO), 68-37, in a league outing.

The Panthers now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to West Grand for a 2A/1A Western Slope - North outing on Tuesday, February 23. Rangely will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 46-41 league win over Soroco (Oak Creek, CO). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-3.
