Sparkman Senators (Harvest, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Hoover Buccaneers (Hoover, AL), 7-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Sparkman upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Senators travel to Buckhorn (New Market, AL) to battle the Bucks in a non-league test on Tuesday, February 23. The Bucks come into the test with a record of 2-4. Buckhorn lost 8-3 in their recent non-league test against Bob Jones (Madison, AL)

With the defeat, Hoover falls to 1-3 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL) to battle the Wildcats in a test on Thursday, February 25.
