Wisconsin High School Basketball - Marshall tops Markesan
February 20, 2023: Marshall, WI 53559 Marshall Cardinals (Marshall, WI) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Markesan Hornets (Markesan, WI), 56-42 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Marshall upgrades its record to 13-15 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MN) to play the Thunderhawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 21. The Thunderhawks come into the bout with a record of 4-16. Grand Rapids won 69-65 in their recent non-league bout against Detroit Lakes (Detroit Lakes, MN)
Next up, the Hornets play the Randolph Rockets (Randolph, WI) in a Trailways - West bout, on Thursday, February 23. Markesan will attempt to upgrade on its 12-11 season record. The Rockets come into the bout with a 11-9 record after their 64-57 league win over Pardeeville (Pardeeville, WI).
