Minnesota High School Basketball - North Community tops New Richmond
February 20, 2023: Minneapolis, MN 55411 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the North Community Polars (Minneapolis, MN) and the visiting New Richmond Tigers (New Richmond, WI), saw North Community's basketball squad knock off New Richmond by a count of 94-84.
With the victory, North Community upgrades its record to 13-7 on the campaign. The Polars travel to Edison (Minneapolis, MN) to play the Tommies in a AA Section 5 challenge on Wednesday, February 22. The Tommies come into the challenge with a record of 12-7. Edison won 84-58 in their recent non-league challenge against Roosevelt/Heritage Academy (Minneapolis, MN)
Next up, the Tigers play the Rice Lake Warriors (Rice Lake, WI) in a Big Rivers challenge, on Thursday, February 23. New Richmond will attempt to upgrade on its 6-17 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 14-9 record after their 62-49 non-league loss to Northwestern (Maple, WI).
