Michigan High School Basketball - Hillman overwhelms Tawas Area
February 20, 2023: Tawas City, MI 48763 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Hillman Tigers (Hillman, MI) and the host Tawas Area Braves (Tawas City, MI), saw Hillman's basketball squad wallop Tawas Area by a tally of 63-23.
With the victory, Hillman improves its record to 17-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Oscoda (Oscoda, MI) to play the Owls in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 24. The Owls come into the challenge with a record of 13-8. Oscoda lost 61-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Alpena (Alpena, MI)
Next up, the Braves play the Kalkaska Blazers (Kalkaska, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 21. Tawas Area will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record. The Blazers come into the challenge with a 1-15 record after their 61-16 league loss to St. Francis (Traverse City, MI).
