February 20, 2024: Oconomowoc, WI 53066 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Oconomowoc Raccoons (Oconomowoc, WI) and the visiting Appleton North Lightning (Appleton, WI), saw Oconomowoc's basketball squad hold off Appleton North by a tally of 83-80.
With the victory, Oconomowoc improves its record to 14-10 on the campaign. The Raccoons host Fond du Lac (Fond du Lac, WI) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 11-13. Fond du Lac won 54-51 in their recent league challenge against Kaukauna (Kaukauna, WI)
Next up, the Lightning confront the Neenah Rockets (Neenah, WI) in a Fox Valley challenge, on Thursday, February 22. Appleton North will attempt to improve on its 16-7 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 16-7 record after their 65-52 league win over Oshkosh West (Oshkosh, WI).
