Shakamak Lakers (Jasonville, IN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Eastern Greene Thunderbirds (Bloomfield, IN), 49-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Shakamak upgrades its record to 12-9 on the season. The Lakers travel to West Vigo (West Terre Haute, IN) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 20. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 11-11. West Vigo won 77-42 in their recent non-league bout against North Central (Farmersburg, IN)

Next up, the Thunderbirds clash with the Edgewood Mustangs (Ellettsville, IN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 22. Eastern Greene will attempt to upgrade on its 4-17 season record.
