Ohio High School Basketball - Maumee can't hold off Holgate
February 20, 2024: Holgate, OH 43527 The Holgate Tigers basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the visiting Maumee Panthers to 40 in the Tigers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 7-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ayersville for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 28. Holgate will battle a Pilots team coming off a 47-34 non-league win over Kalida (Kalida, OH). The Pilots record now stands at 11-11.
The Panthers (5-16) will now prepare for their contest against Fostoria (Fostoria, OH). The Redmen come into the Northern Buckeye contest with a 17-4 record. In their last contest, Fostoria edged Waite (Toledo, OH), 84-36, in a non-league contest.
