AuSable Valley Patriots (Clintonville, NY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Saranac Lake Red Storm (Saranac Lake, NY), 32-27 in a league bout.

With the win, AuSable Valley upgrades its record to 14-6 on the season.

Next up, the Red Storm play the Moriah Vikings (Port Henry, NY) in a Section 7 Champlain Valley II bout, on Wednesday, February 21. Saranac Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 9-10 record after their 51-35 non-league win over Schroon Lake (Schroon Lake, NY).
