February 20, 2024: Elkhorn, NE Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Elkhorn North (Elkhorn, NE) and the visiting Gretna East Griffins (Gretna, NE), saw Elkhorn North's basketball squad wallop Gretna East by a tally of 72-45.
With the victory, Elkhorn North improves its record to 21-1 on the campaign. The host Blair (Blair, NE) to confront the Bears in a B District 5 challenge on Saturday, February 24. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 11-12. Blair lost 55-47 in their recent non-league challenge against South Sioux City (South Sioux City, NE)
Next up, the Griffins confront the Crete Cardinals (Crete, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 24. Gretna East will attempt to improve on its 17-7 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 15-9 record after their 56-52 non-league loss to Norris (Firth, NE).
