Michigan High School Basketball - Stephenson overwhelms Mid Peninsula
February 20, 2024: Rock, MI 49880 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Stephenson Eagles (Stephenson, MI) and the host Mid Peninsula Wolverines (Rock, MI), saw Stephenson's basketball squad wallop Mid Peninsula by a tally of 61-32.
With the victory, Stephenson improves its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Superior Central (Eben Junction, MI) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 22. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 6-13. Superior Central lost 46-14 in their recent non-league challenge against Norway (Norway, MI)
Next up, the Wolverines play the North Central Jets (Powers, MI) in a Skyline challenge, on Thursday, February 22. Mid Peninsula will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record. The Jets come into the challenge with a 2-16 record after their 59-29 league loss to Bark River-Harris (Harris, MI).
