February 20, 2024: Woodstock, GA 30188 St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions (Atlanta, GA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Golden Lions confront the South Cobb Eagles (Austell, GA) in a challenge, on Thursday, February 29. St. Pius X Catholic will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 4-2 league loss to North Atlanta (Atlanta, GA).
The Knights now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cambridge for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 27. River Ridge will confront a Bears team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Sprayberry (Marietta, GA). The Bears record now stands at 2-1.
