The Bloomington Bruins baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Fontana Steelers to 4 in the Bruins non-league win on Thursday.

The Bruins now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Linfield Christian for a non-league test on Saturday, February 22. Bloomington will play a Lions team coming off a 4-4 non-league Temescal Canyon (Lake Elsinore, CA). The Lions record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Fontana drops to 0-2 on the year. The Steelers host Eisenhower (Rialto, CA) to play the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, February 22.
