The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the South Forsyth War Eagles (Cumming, GA) and the host Lanier Longhorns (Sugar Hill, GA), saw South Forsyth's baseball team get by Lanier by a margin of 5-4.

The War Eagles (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against River Ridge (Woodstock, GA). The Knights enter the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, River Ridge was tipped by Blessed Trinity (Roswell, GA), 7-2, in a non-league battle.
