Michigan High School Basketball - Central Catholic can't hold off Voyageur Academy
March 3, 2025: Detroit, MI 48210 Voyageur Academy Cougar (Detroit, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Central Catholic Fighting Irish (Toledo, OH), 69-66 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Voyageur Academy upgrades its record to 13-9 on the year.
The Fighting Irish now sport a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shawnee for a non-league match on Wednesday, March 5. Central Catholic will face a Indians squad coming off a 58-43 non-league win over Defiance (Defiance, OH). The Indians record now stands at 23-2.
