Lee Park Prep Knights (Monroe, NC) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Shining Light Academy Knights (Greensboro, NC), 60-59 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Lee Park Prep advances its record to 19-4 on the year. The Knights travel to Apostolic Christian (Knoxville, TN) to face the in a non-league match on Wednesday, February 26. The enter the match with a record of 22-7. Apostolic Christian won 69-50 in their recent non-league match against Seymour Community Christian Academy (Seymour, TN)
