The Springport Spartans basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Quincy Orioles to 41 in the Spartans league triumph on Thursday.

The Spartans now possess a 13-8 record. They play next when they travel to Tecumseh for a non-league game on Friday, February 21. Springport will confront a Indians team coming off a 60-36 non-league win over Roosevelt (Wyandotte, MI). The Indians record now stands at 15-6.

With the loss, Quincy falls to 11-10 on the campaign.
