February 20, 2025: Grosse Ile, MI 48138 The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Summerfield Bulldogs (Petersburg, MI) and the host Grosse Ile Red Devils (Grosse Ile, MI), observed Summerfield's basketball team overwhelm Grosse Ile by a score of 74-40.
The Bulldogs (14-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Lenawee Christian (Adrian, MI). The Cougars come into the Tri-County challenge with a 12-7 record. In their last challenge, Lenawee Christian trounced Erie-Mason (Erie, MI), 40-32, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Red Devils encounter the Cabrini Monarchs (Allen Park, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 25. Grosse Ile will attempt to improve on its 5-16 season record. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 67-41 league loss to St. Catherine of Siena Academy (Wixom, MI).
