In Thursday's non-league test, the Aubrey Chaparrals (Aubrey, TX) softball squad got by the host Ball Tornadoes (Galveston, TX), by a tally of 1-0.

Next, the Chaparrals clash with the Bastrop Bears (Bastrop, TX) in a non-league test, on Friday, February 21. Aubrey will attempt to advance on its 8-0 season record. The Bears go into the test with a 2-5 record after their 13-5 non-league win over Wimberley (Wimberley, TX).
