In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Colfax Falcons basketball team scored a good 62-50 triumph over the Escalon Cougars.

The Falcons (23-7) will now prepare for their match against Natomas (Sacramento, CA). The Nighthawks go into the non-league game with a 21-9 record. In their last game, Natomas toppled Union Mine (El Dorado, CA), 108-50, in a non-league game.

With the loss, Escalon falls to 18-12 on the campaign.
