In Monday's non-league match, the host Washington Prexies basketball team scored a good 57-45 triumph over the Beaver Falls Tigers.

In their next game, the Prexies meet the Shady Side Academy Bulldogs (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 24. Washington will attempt to better on its 17-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 16-6 record after their 68-28 non-league win over Laurel (New Castle, PA).

With the defeat, Beaver Falls moves to 10-11 on the year.
