Texas High School Softball - Lockney holds off Petersburg
February 21, 2022: Lockney, TX 79241 Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Lockney Longhorns (Lockney, TX) and the visiting Petersburg Buffaloes (Petersburg, TX), witnessed Lockney's softball squad tip Petersburg by a count of 17-15.
The Longhorns now sport a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Memphis for a non-league match on Thursday, February 24.
With the loss, Petersburg moves to 0-1 on the season. The Buffaloes travel to Sudan (Sudan, TX) to meet the Hornets in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 1. The Hornets go into the match with a record of 0-0.
