February 21, 2023: Covington, GA 30014 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Eastside Eagles (Covington, GA) and the visiting Jackson Red Devils (Jackson, GA), saw Eastside's baseball squad knock off Jackson by a count of 17-3.
Coming up next, the Eagles play the Jones County Greyhounds (Gray, GA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, February 22. Eastside will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Greyhounds enter the battle with a 0-5 record after their 9-4 non-league loss to West Laurens (Dexter, GA).
The Red Devils now possess a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Heard County for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 25. Jackson will play a Braves squad coming off a 10-5 non-league win over Valley (Valley, AL). The Braves record now stands at 2-3.
