Wisconsin High School Basketball - Menomonee Falls knocked off by Waukesha South
February 21, 2023: Waukesha, WI 53186 The Waukesha South Blackshirts basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Menomonee Falls Phoenix to 55 in the Blackshirts non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Blackshirts now sport a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arrowhead for a Classic Eight contest on Thursday, February 23. Waukesha South will battle a Warhawks team coming off a 88-74 non-league win over Marquette University (Milwaukee, WI). The Warhawks record now stands at 20-2.
The Phoenix (0-23) will now prepare for their contest against Wauwatosa East (Wauwatosa, WI). The Red Raiders enter the Greater Metro contest with a 4-16 record. In their last contest, Wauwatosa East ran past Janesville Craig (Janesville, WI), 67-58, in a non-league contest.
