The Avon Lake Shoremen basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Medina Battling Bees to 39 in the Shoremen non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Shoremen now sport a 15-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Olmsted Falls for a non-league contest on Friday, February 24. Avon Lake will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 72-38 non-league win over Westlake (Westlake, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 20-3.
