The Swain County Maroon Devils basketball team (Bryson City, NC), was overwhelmed 59-34 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Bessemer City Yellow Jackets (Bessemer City, NC)

The Yellow Jackets now possess a 20-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Uwharrie Charter for a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 22. Bessemer City will confront a Eagles team coming off a 39-38 non-league win over Christ the King (Huntersville, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 12-15.
