North Carolina High School Basketball - Surry Central trounced by Monroe

February 21, 2023: Monroe, NC 28112

The Monroe Redhawks routed the visiting Surry Central Golden Eagles basketball team by a final score of 62-34 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Redhawks face the North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 23. Monroe will attempt to move on its 18-7 season record. The Greyhounds enter the game with a 17-8 record after their 52-34 non-league win over Owen (Black Mountain, NC).

With the defeat, Surry Central moves to 12-13 on the year.
