Georgia High School Soccer - Franklin County knocks off Elbert County
February 21, 2023: Carnesville, GA 30521 Franklin County Lions (Carnesville, GA) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Elbert County Blue Devils (Elberton, GA), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lions confront the Towns County Indians (Hiawassee, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 28. Franklin County will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record.
The Blue Devils now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rabun County for a 1A D-I Area 8 challenge on Friday, February 24. Elbert County will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Banks County (Homer, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-1.
