February 21, 2025: Donaldsonville, LA 70346 The Ascension Catholic Bulldogs baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Franklin Hornets to 2 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Friday.
The Bulldogs now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Berwick for a non-league test on Saturday, February 22. Ascension Catholic will play a Panthers team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Central Catholic (Morgan City, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-4.
With the defeat, Franklin drops to 5-3 on the year. The Hornets travel to Morgan City (Morgan City, LA) to play the Tigers in a non-league test on Saturday, February 22. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 0-8. Morgan City lost 5-3 in their recent non-league test against Ascension Catholic (Donaldsonville, LA)
