Westfield Shamrocks (Westfield, IN) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Franklin Central Flashes (Indianapolis, IN), 53-37 in a league match.

With the victory, Westfield upgrades its record to 17-3 on the year. The Shamrocks travel to Mt. Vernon (Fortville, IN) to face the Marauders in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 25. The Marauders enter the match with a record of 16-4. Mt. Vernon won 71-59 in their recent league match against New Palestine (New Palestine, IN)

The Flashes now sport a 6-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Indianapolis Bishop Chatard for a non-league match on Friday, February 28.
