The Ironwood Eagles (Glendale, AZ) basketball were winner over the visiting Highland Hawks (Gilbert, AZ), 72-61 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 21-6 record. They play next when they travel to Perry for a non-league bout on Friday, February 28. Ironwood will play a Pumas team coming off a 83-54 non-league win over Brophy College Prep (Phoenix, AZ). The Pumas record now stands at 24-2.

With the loss, Highland falls to 17-10 on the campaign.
