February 21, 2025: Marshfield, WI 54449 Marshfield Tigers (Marshfield, WI) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Merrill Bluejays (Merrill, WI), 53-33 in a league match.
With the victory, Marshfield advances its record to 17-5 on the year. The Tigers host Eau Claire Memorial (Eau Claire, WI) to face the Old Abes in a non-league match on Saturday, February 22. The Old Abes enter the match with a record of 16-3. Eau Claire Memorial won 57-47 in their recent league match against Rice Lake (Rice Lake, WI)
The Bluejays now own a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rhinelander for a non-league match on Monday, February 24. Merrill will face a Hodags squad coming off a 64-61 league win over Mosinee (Mosinee, WI). The Hodags record now stands at 17-5.
